Studio is a wholesale company offering higher end home furnishings to retail
stores and interior designers. Currently we are searching for a Customer
Service representative for our new Dallas, TX office and distribution center.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and results oriented individual
to make a large contribution towards a new office venture. Primary
responsibilities will include answering phones to handle account and order inquiries,
invoicing and collecting payments, data entry, and assisting with trade show
preparations.
Essential Functions:
• Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries
• Daily data entry of orders, inventory items and customer information
• Allocation of orders to warehouse for order fulfillment
• Reconciling invoices and other expenses
• Attend tradeshows and assist in setup/merchandising; sales and order taking;
and teardown
• General office administration and other tasks
• Work as a team player in a team environment
Requirements:
• 2+ years home furnishings service experience
• Experience with Netsuite a plus
• Superior understanding of an organization's goals and objectives
• Team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both oral and written
• Excellent individual customer service skills
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to hit shipping goals and
deadlines
• "Whatever it takes" attitude
• Excellent organizational, analytical and grammatical skills
