Road Runners is a reputable multi-line rep agency representing leaders in the gift, jewelry, personal care, and fashion industries. General Summary: Road Runners is looking for a result driven candidate who will continue to sell top lines with a well-established retail account base as well as target potential customers in territory. Essential Functions and Duties: • Assess current customers needs and provide sources to expand current product offering • Develop and execute a “cold-calling” strategy to target potential customers • Ensure quality service and high customer satisfaction through availability and consistency • Respond and effectively communicate with manufacturers and venders • Frequently cross-sell other Road Runners lines to customers • Stay up-to-date on discontinued products, new trends, and top sellers • Connect customers’ needs with creative and fast solutions • Attend bi-annual regional trade shows to connect with customer base and sell new items (Approximately week-long show) Job Specifications: • Goal oriented and internally motivated • Relational and organized • Outside sales experience and/or gift industry experience • Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) • Capacity to work under pressure, independently, and with a team • Committed to building a career path • Aptitude for acquiring product knowledge and developing sales skills • Basic computer skills • US Citizen • Proficiency in English Disclaimer: We offer a higher than industry standard commission structure as well as no cap on earnings.
