Position: Account Executive

Remedy is a leading women’s mulit-line contemporary apparel sales agency with showrooms in the Dallas World Trade Center and offices in the Design District, Dallas, TX

In addition to expanding our sales team, we are currently undergoing a major showroom renovation. The Grand Re-opening will be in January!

We are a super busy agency and need to add one Highly Energetic, Motivated, Selling Machine to our team! Are you that person? If you think you are then read on!

The Account Executive (AE) needs to be a mature, long term thinking, career minded individual. The AE must be driven to succeed to the highest levels possible. The success of this position is in not only reaching but exceeding sales goals by selling to existing customers and pursuing prospective customers. The AE will achieve these objectives by communicating with accounts and prospects to introduce new products and solicit reorders, creating strategic sales plans to strengthen selling efforts, and actively collaborating with internal staff. The AE must use critical thinking when making decisions in problem solving, and when dealing with territory/distribution responsibilities. Additionally, the AE will attend both local and national trade shows to directly impact sales within the region. This position is a 45-55 hour work week, plus the occasional weekend. This position REQUIRES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL and is based in Dallas, TX. The AE must live within a 15 mile radius of Dallas.

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
*Drive sales in assigned territory by working to grow existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
*Actively sell to existing customers; identify opportunities in these customers and support them in increasing their annual sales through strategic planning and data-driven decisions on assortments
*Plan and attend in-store appointments to show product lines and get orders in person, by traveling in our custom, mobile showroom
*Attend trade shows; actively solicit appointments and prepare showrooms for upcoming markets.
*Maintain thorough knowledge of all Remedy lines including pricing, product features and key selling points, as well as competitive Brands within the market place.
*Engage in active prospecting of new accounts for assigned region based on current distribution and brand placement
*Prepare customer order proposals, analysis of sell throughs, customer meeting agendas, communication content and materials, and follow up documentation for key accounts
*Provide support for existing customers by assisting with selling opportunities, answering questions, tracing order status or product shipments, and resolving problems
*Support fellow team members, as needed
*Stay abreast of fashion trends and provide trend analysis as well as notify management of missing trends within your assigned Brand responsibility and communicate with manufacturer of the missing items or categories
*Additional responsibilities, as assigned, including daily Social Media marketing, sales meeting attendance and team meeting responsibilities

Job Qualifications,
*Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
*2+ years of relevant retail/fashion experience with Management responsibilities
*Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
*Self-starter and independent critical thinker
*Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
*Strong interpersonal skills enabling ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers
*Ability to multi-task and react with flexibility, without losing track of the current project at hand
*Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow through
*Ability to adapt to a changing environment; comfortable with change and voicing ideas
*Proficient in all Microsoft office programs, especially Excel and experience with Google Docs a plus
*Travel required (up to 60% of the time)
*Make thoughtful, smart decisions, even on the fly, with Remedy values at top of mind to ensure customer satisfaction and manufacturer confidence
*Must have a clean driving record with No at fault accidents in the last 3 years
*Must be able to pass a background check
*Must be FUN!

Position Type: Full Time
*Salaried + Commissions + Bonus Opportunities
*Benefits include vacation, clothing allowance, company credit card for travel related expenses, and company vehicle provided for company related travel
*Company sponsored retirement program with matching funds up to 3%, after 6 months
*PTO of up to 13 days per year including first year

*Paid training prior to start date
*6 month bonus of $5000, after satisfactory review (salary increase)
