This position will be responsible for managing and growing a substantial portfolio of existing retailers, buying groups and other accounts.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Manage all aspects of sales accounts
Call on independent retailers and key accounts
Evaluate and help implement our sales program by account
Responsible for achieving Sales Goals
Forecasting/Inventory management, where applicable
Manage and regularly update key items being added or dropped from customer's assortment
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for assigned accounts
Communicate regularly with supply chain and customer service to ensure inventory availability and delivery to meet customer needs
Prepare sales reports reflecting customer activities and results
Works closely with marketing and sales planning departments to maintain solid knowledge of trends and assortments
Manage independent specialty account business covered by manufacturer's representatives
Conducts product training for representatives
Any other duties assigned
There will be some travel (10 - 25%) consisting of trade shows, sales calls and other events

Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Good time management and organizational Skills
BA/BS or equivalent
Proficient at Microsoft Suite
