Dallas Market Center Hosts Over 1,100 Guests at Spring 2019 Dallas Design Week: Design Intelligence

DALLAS – April 29, 2019 – Dallas Market Center welcomed more than 1,100 members of the design community at Dallas Design Week: Design Intelligence from April 15-18, 2019. The week of events showcased celebrity designers and industry experts within Dallas Market Center’s open-daily design resources.

“Dallas Design Week: Design Intelligence was a massive success, and on behalf of our open-daily design showrooms we thank all guests who attended,” says Michael Bauer, Vice President of Retail Development, Design. “The design community came together to connect and engage with all of the special events held throughout the week.”

Dine + Design - Creating Beautiful Designs While Crafting A Successful Business: Famed designers Gary Inman and Donna Vining lead guests through a highly informative and educational discussion on design business success. Nearly 400 guests attended this CEU credited event presented by Dallas Market Center.

Dallas Market Center & Feizy Present Carson Kressley: Dallas Market Center and Feizy hosted Emmy-winning TV personality, style expert and New York Times best-selling author Carson Kressley for an exclusive interview in the World Trade Center atrium. Guests had the opportunity to meet Carson in the Feizy showroom following the presentation.

Uttermost Lunch & Learn with Rick Janacek: Uttermost’s Creative Director of Revelation, Rick Janacek, held a luncheon seminar discussion on the merging of these top brands and the future of Revelation under his creative leadership.

Mike Peterson - Design Therapy: President of Vision Marketing and former publisher of Country Living, House Beautiful and Luxe Interiors + Design Mike Peterson lead an insightful panel discussion on design’s influence on health and wellness and provided designers with tips on how to market this emotional reward they provide to clients.

Taste of Lightovation: This exclusive opportunity to experience a taste of the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America began with a hosted luncheon followed by a guided tour of select lighting exhibitors. Guests could attend the launch party of Better Home & Gardens’ latest Lighting special interest magazine and participate in giveaway drawings following the tour.

Coffee & Dessert Reception Featuring Denise McGaha: Currey & Company hosted award-winning interior designer Denise McGaha for a meet and greet, coffee, dessert and giveaways.

“Currey & Company was thrilled to host our Designer Desserts reception along with the wonderful & talented designer, Denise McGaha, during Dallas Design Week,” says Pamela R. Bailey, Director of Showrooms. “We were pleased with the great turn out and were happy to have so many designers tour our new location in the Interior Home + Design Center.”

Stephen Karlisch & Denise McGaha – Smart Photography: Expert interior photographer Stephen Karlisch and award-winning interior designer Denise McGaha provided guests with strategies for planning the most effective and successful photo shoots. Guests who attended this CEU credited event left with tips on photo styling, planning a shoot, social media and more.

Dallas Design Week Closing Party: Designers toasted a week to remember at the Dallas Design Week Closing Party in the Gallery at the Interior Home + Design Center. The party featured light bites, cocktails, music, fabulous giveaways and the Jan Barboglio Signature Tequila Bar in celebration of the Linea d’Luz collection launch.
