Panelists will include Anastasia Davis, Crestron; Bryan Cruikshank, HomeTronics; and Scott Cohen, Samsung.

Two Samsung 65” Frame QLED 4K televisions are being given away to attendees of the panel and grand opening celebration of Smarter Living by Design. The grand opening reception follows the panel from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to enable attendees to experience these technologies in the groundbreaking Smarter Living by Design display while enjoying “Smartinis,” other refreshments and entertainment.

Smarter Living by Design is a new, open-daily showcase for leading technology for residential, commercial and hospitality projects from thirteen innovative companies from around the world including Samsung. The selection of best-in-class brands spanning home technology categories include premier lighting, sound and appliances to artificial intelligence. The showcase will be the first to unite advanced technology from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. in order to demonstrate how technology can seamlessly and stylishly integrate into the modern home.

Participating brands include Samsung (South Korea), Basalte (Belgium), BRYTE BED (USA), California Audio Technology (USA), CinemaTech (USA), Crestron (USA), Display Technologies (UK), Future Automation (UK), Josh.ai (USA), LumaStream (USA), Koa Technology Group for CoeLux (Italy), and Kaleidescape (USA).

Additional services to be offered exclusively in Smarter Living by Design include education, training, and installation to enhance the products on display and support the retail and design communities.

The showcase will be coordinated by HomeTronics, a Dallas-based custom electronics integrator and will feature a series of five custom-built lifestyle vignettes: Family Room, Master Suite, Outdoor Cooking, Outdoor Living, and an Interactive Technology Showcase. Each living space will be updated regularly and serve as a practical demonstration space and design laboratory.

In addition, Smarter Living by Design will host frequent special events and seminars to educate and inspire designers and retailers about the basics of smart home technology, to share project ideas, and to hold collaborative sessions on technology subjects that can turn the design community into smart home thought leaders.

Finally, Dallas Market Center and vendor personnel will be present to connect customers with installation resources in their local areas for the products featured. The full-spectrum showcase has been masterfully designed to integrate products, training, education and related services to support the design and retail community in an unprecedented manner.

Smarter Living by Design will be open daily inside Light + Design on Ten in the World Trade Center, space 10085-11.
