Spectrum Shared Showroom Expanding for January 2017 Lightovation
DALLAS – November 16, 2016 – Dallas Market Center has announced a dramatic expansion for its popular Spectrum shared showroom in Trade Mart 4432 to debut at the winter 2017 edition of Lightovation, the Dallas International Lighting Show, January 18-22.
Spectrum will add more than 3,000 square feet, a 55 percent increase that enables eight new exhibitors to join the 13 who were already present in 2016. The expansion also enables two existing exhibitors – Ren-Wil and Wind River Fans – to have a larger presence within Spectrum.
New exhibitors to Spectrum for 2017 include Ai Lati Lights/Zefferano Bespoke Glass Lighting, Awsens, Harco Loor by Scangift, KONCEPT, Oggetti and Rayon Lighting Group. Returning exhibitors include Acuity Brands, Aspen Brands, Blackjack Lighting, CORE Lighting, Kemp International, Kodak LED Lighting/Spotlite USA, Lumenno, Seed Design USA, SPJ Lighting Inc., Terracotta Designs and Vita Copenhagen.
Since first opening in January 2010, Spectrum has earned a reputation for showcasing up-and-coming lines, making it a must-shop destination for Lightovation’s primary audience of retail lighting showrooms seeking new sources. In several cases, companies that debuted in Dallas within Spectrum have graduated to larger permanent showrooms in the Trade Mart. Edge Lighting, Legrand and Lights Up! all started as Spectrum exhibitors.
“Spectrum has served as a successful entry point for many Lightovation exhibitors, while also giving lighting showrooms valuable exposure to new brands,” said Laura Van Zeyl, Vice President of Lighting Technology Development & Marketing at Dallas Market Center. “Adding to Spectrum’s square footage for January 2017 creates enhanced opportunities for both buyers and sellers.”
