JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Showroom Manager to help us manage our Dallas Market Center showroom. As our Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for effective merchandising of our products as well as delivering exceptional experiences to customers who walk through our door. In your free time, you will also assist our sales team with various inside sales responsibilities. SHOWROOM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES - Deliver an above and beyond experience to customers who visit our showroom (both existing and prospective) - Represent and communicate our values and philosophy to our customers - Build and grow our burgeoning designer business - Create and maintain exceptional visual displays; merchandise our products in a way that drives optimal sales and is brand-aligned - Meet our showrooms' financial and customer experience goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis - Assist at our periodic tradeshows, including shows in our Dallas Market Center showroom as well as our other national showrooms (Las Vegas and High Point); help schedule appointments with customers in advance of these tradeshows and make other preparations - Act as liaison between our showroom customers and our Dallas HQ, sharing feedback and new ideas for our brand - Participate in the development and execution of in-store events - In your free time, assist with inside sales responsibilities, such as: - Prepare quotations and respond to customer inquiries, including pricing, order status, returns, availability, etc. - Prepare sales proposals and follow up on submissions - Maintain customer records and information in our ERP system (SAP) and CRM - Develop and manage sales leads by utilizing online, offline, marketing sources - Proactively make outbound calls to customers for product introduction, up-sell existing orders, or provide sales support to existing accounts SHOWROOM MANAGER REQUIREMENTS - The right experience - Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role can substitute for degree requirement - 3 years of customer service/sales support experience, preferably in the Home, Gift & Furniture industry - The right skills - Proficient with MS Excel and Word; experience with ERP systems (specifically SAP) a plus - Fluent in MS Office; willing to learn new technologies and tools to make you more efficient at the job - Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. - The right traits to be successful - Appreciation for home goods with some knowledge of current trends in interior design - A passion for customers and problem-solving - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a customer-facing capacity - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; strong attention to detail and ability to multitask without losing focus - Eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - A motivated self-starter, with the ability to identify issues and resolve problems independently, and a desire to find opportunities to improve our processes - Excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of reliability, commitment, tenacity, teamwork and creative energy to achieve success WHY HIEND ACCENTS?
