Unique Loom has over 50 years’ experience in the Rug Industry and over 15 years of manufacturing experience. Unique Loom sells both vintage and new one-of-a-kind rugs, as well as jute, natural fiber and indoor/outdoor rugs.
Unique Loom is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to Manage our Showroom in the Dallas Market Center.
The Showroom Manager will be responsible for executing the company’s visual presentation and standards regarding the appearance of the showroom. They must have the appropriate product knowledge and inventory to drive sales and engage customers. They will promote and implement the company's core values and excellence in customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintaining showroom standards
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers
Contact and regularly communicate with potential customers/designers
Understanding the industry to keep up with trends and competitors
Showroom preparation and presentation for each show
Working with team to develop and promote business to drive sales
Tracking inventory
Any additional tasks or duties as assigned or requested based on business need
Qualifications:
4-year degree or equivalent and relevant work experience required
Experience or training in the interior design field
2-3 years Sales experience
Additional Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include proficiency in Excel
Excellent work ethic
Strong and positive people skills. Highly motivated and outgoing
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Motivating, guiding, and supporting a team
Professional and presentable
Physical requirements
Trade shows require 12 hours during Market to include standing and walking
Prolonged use of computer involved
Ability to see near, far and have depth perception.
Ability to distinguish Colors.
Manipulating, carrying and lifting rugs up to 75lbs-175 lbs. with assistance.
