Position Summary:

The Content Producer initiates, coordinates, and manages the creation and production of various types of creative content. This role is involved throughout all phases of production from inception to completion, including coordination, and management of budget, talent, etc. This role will own work streams and quality control for projects in Marketing including company branding, marketplace promotion, and sales/leasing. This position works closely with stakeholders in the Marketing team and affiliated teams across the company to manage one-time projects and multi-channel marketing campaigns. This is a critical position for the planning, creation, roll-out, and measurement of marketing content supporting the customer journey.  This position is part of the Creative team and will report to the Creative Director.

Position Description:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our business, audiences, content types and channels that resonate with them.
  • Work with Creative Director to assist in the creation and execution of content programming to drive engagement, foster conversations and increase audience reach.
  • Produce and edit visually compelling content for distribution across digital ecosystems, including but not limited to photographs, videos, graphics and animations.
  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external production teams.
  • Help to manage pre and post production.
  • Responsible for ensuring unified assets are created and formatted to work across multiple media types and channels including print and online.
  • Manages budgeting and expenditures associated with content needs.  Identify and track budget requirements and demonstrate ROI.
  • Proactively communicate the status of content projects and calendars.
  • Create clear schedules and timelines mapped to a central calendar aligned to the broader marketing team’s goals and plans. 
  • Secure and apply the resources needed for projects such as writers, photographers, graphic designers, etc.
  • Measure and report on progress against clearly defined targets and goals.
  • Identify new and better ways to get greater leverage and scale for the content we create, including tools and management systems for content management and lifecycle.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key resources and stakeholders to drive creative, and to create greater consistency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure our voice, tone, assets and thought leadership are tightly aligned. 
  • Oversee the research, sourcing, planning, development and production of content. 
  • Set clear guidance on a consistent voice and tone across our content assets, and set the bar for high-quality content (great copy, consistent editing, leveraging data, etc.).
  • Innovate and experiment with new forms of storytelling, production, and distribution.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Filmmaking, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Videography, Photography, Graphic Design or related field.

Required Experience:

  • Advanced storytelling abilities.
  • The ability to manage projects from start to finish, including ideation, production, editing and distribution.
  • Strong writing skills a huge plus.
  • Exceptional skills in shooting and producing content, including but not limited to photography, videography, cinematography and animation.
  • Experience distributing content across social media channels a plus.
  • Experience producing creative and innovative multi-media content, as well as experience in other multi-media production platforms (web sites, CMS, digital asset management) desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit in an office environment for the majority of each day.
