Dallas Market Center (DMC) is in search of a creative, organized, and energetic Media Manager with 2-3 years’ experience to join its marketing team! The position will oversee the marketing department's print and digital media buys and influencer marketing initiatives.
- What can you expect? To manage media buys and be the point of contact for print and digital media trafficking across various publications. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of digital & traditional media trafficking. Our goal is to ensure our markets achieve maximum market share through a strategic mix of media channels. This role will also manage the influencer marketing program and be lead on influencer-related initiatives.
- What do we expect? A candidate with exemplary attention to detail with a proven ability to manage media buys/trafficking, timelines, and dozens of simultaneous print and digital campaigns. Our media manager will plan and place media as well as track our media buys.

Job Tasks:
- Daily responsibilities will include overseeing the media calendar, trafficking ads to media partners, track deadlines and be the point of contact for all things paid print and digital media.
- Manage the influencer marketing program by doing research, outreach, outlining deliverables, building relationships with influencers, and drafting contracts.
- Work with creative team on creative requests for media buys.
- Submit creative assets to media partners in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with marketing team on media partnerships and media-led events.
- Assist with media asset trafficking, reporting and content creation.
- Assist marketing team with day to day industry responsibilities, including event support where needed during major markets.
- Work directly with Managing Director of Buyer Marketing on industry related business needs, such as media research and identifying potential new media partners.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental team members to ensure efficiencies, cross promotion opportunities and marketing support (ex. Apparel, Lighting, Design).
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role (full-time or internships).
- Experience with print and digital media trafficking.
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding proofreading skills.
- Firm grasp on various marketing channels and best practices, including social, digital, and email.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Must have a high level of creativity and a hungry/passionate attitude.
- Experience working with influencers across different industries.
- Ability to negotiate with influencers on deliverables.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and various influencer marketing software is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Office Environment – Ability to sit for vast majority of work shift.
- Market Duties –Light lifting, moving and a significant amount of walking.
