Improving Life by Improving Light

This ALA session features Tom Butters, Executive Director of Lighting Agora. We are all aging, and as we age, we require a different approach to lighting our environment. Tom will discuss the physiological changes that occur in our vision over time. Then, he will explore the changes and challenges of adaptation, accommodation, color discrimination, circadian rhythms, and glare sensitivity in the aging eye and offer some simple, empathetic solutions that will improve quality of life through improved lighting.
