Modern Forms to Debut 15,000-Square-Foot Showroom at January 2018 Lightovation

DALLAS – December 26, 2017 – Lightovation—Dallas International Lighting Show, already the largest and most important lighting trade event in North America, announces the addition of a sizeable stand-alone showroom for Modern Forms debuting during the next edition of the show, January 17-21, 2018 at Dallas Market Center. The 15,000-square-foot showroom, located in Trade Mart 4808, will feature an unprecedented range of new designs, a new product category, innovative technology, and special promotions including an electric car giveaway for lighting retailers.
The new Modern Forms showroom, located diagonally across the atrium from the WAC space in Trade Mart 3101 where the brand was previously located, is 50 percent larger than the current WAC showroom and allows for the company to showcase more new products, to meet with more customers, and to offer unrivaled hospitality.
Among the highlights in the Modern Forms’ showroom debut are 220 more SKUs, a great number of additional ceiling fixtures, and the debut of fans as a new category for the company. The launch of fans will include 80 SKUs and 27 core designs. Modern Forms Fans use only DC motors powered by WAC LED and controls technology. The Modern Forms smart ceiling fans, most of which integrate LED luminaires, feature a range of interior/exterior styles, while utilizing smart “Adaptive Learning Technology” exclusively developed by WAC Lighting.

In addition to state-of-the-art and stylish products, the showroom will open a customer lounge complete with daily chef’s breakfasts and lunches, and will present a hospitality bar with top-shelf boutique-style beverages. The coffeehouse seating and lounge will become a center of networking and entertaining during Lightovation.
To celebrate the debut of the Modern Forms showroom the company will be giving away an electric car during the show. The vehicle being given away is the most anticipated electric car from the leading manufacturer of luxury electric cars based in California, and is designed to attain the highest safety ratings in every category while achieving 220 miles of range. Wait lists for delivery of this coveted cutting-edge vehicle are as long as two years, but the one being given away during Lightovation already has a priority Spring 2018 delivery reservation.
In order to win, customers are invited to attend the “Get Lit Get Lucky” Get-Together on Thursday evening, January 18, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Exciting raffles will be drawn throughout the night, including door prizes for 100 smart devices that work with Modern Forms Fans, including ecobee, Nest, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home.
