He has spent his career with some of Dallas’ best restaurant groups: Chamberlain’s and Consilient Hospitality. His formative years were spent at Hibiscus, where he truly honed his skills, received amazing mentorship, and began looking at hospitality as a career instead of just a job. He went on to become the General Manager of Homewood before finding his forever home at Billy Can Can with the previous ownership of Consilient! His passion for this industry and love for his guests knows no bounds. He believes that being a part of folks’ special moments as well as their normal nights out is an awesome way to make a living. He’s addicted to seeing people have amazing experiences and strives to deliver that to guests every single night!

Maria is Director of Marketing & Advertising, and manages the marketing, community relations, event coordination, digital media and advertising for Edible Dallas & Fort Worth, the only publication exclusively devoted to content that supports the vibrant local food culture of North Texas.

Since 2009, this quarterly magazine continues to celebrate the stories of North Texas independent farmers, local artisans and food producers, innovative chefs, craft brewers, local vintners and distilleries, sustainable initiatives, and all things related to putting seasonal, local food on your table.

Prior to joining Edible DFW, Maria was part of the marketing and community engagement team for Whole Foods Market in DFW. She volunteers on the City Council for Weston, Texas, and recently joined the Board of A Tasteful Place at the Dallas Arboretum.

Cullen Potts is an owner of the Dallas-based Berkley’s Market, an urban, neighborhood market that opened its doors in 2015. There are currently four locations in the Dallas area. Cullen is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.
