The Independent Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and servicing of accounts within their defined territory.
The success of this position is in reaching and exceeding sales goals through account management, selling to existing
customers, actively prospecting for new accounts, and providing customer service. The Independent Sales Representative
will build profitable business relationships by working closely with boutique partners in their territory, maintaining regular
contact by phone and attending sales appointments in-store and/or at trade shows.

● Drive sales in assigned territory by working to grow existing accounts and identifying prospects
● Actively sells to existing customers; identifies opportunities in these customers and supports them in increasing
their annual sales through strategic planning and data-driven decisions on assortments
● Thorough knowledge of all Sorrelli products including pricing, product features and key selling points
● Visit existing accounts and prospective customers to introduce new collections, solicit reorders, and assist with
merchandising, as needed
● Sell to new and existing customers at trade shows, as needed
● Engage in active prospecting of new accounts for assigned region; identify and convert into accounts
● Prepare customer order proposals, with a focus on sell-through, and submit orders through the wholesale site
● Participate in targeted calling initiatives; actively reach out to customers to solicit orders, share information to
help grow their business, and notify them of upcoming promotions and events
● Provide support to customers by answering questions, tracing order status or product shipments and resolving
customer service issues in a timely manner
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts in assigned territory
● Participate in monthly meetings by phone, video conference, or in-person to review sales, accounts, and other
business items
● Select sample merchandise seasonally, choosing styles based on regional trends, sales data, and knowledge of
customer style preferences
● Manage sample inventory; keep track of samples to prevent loss and return aging samples to headquarters in a
timely manner
● Stay abreast of jewelry industry and retail market trends
● Attend in-store special events, as needed

● Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, or equivalent experience
● 2-4 years of outside sales experience, fashion industry experience a plus
● Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
● Self-starter and independent thinker
● Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
● Strong interpersonal skills enabling ability to work effectively with customers and in groups
● Ability to multi-task and react with flexibility
● Very strong organizational skills with a focus on follow through
● Ability to adapt to a changing environment; comfortable with change
● Able to travel to visit accounts
