DALLAS – February 17, 2020 – Dallas Market Center, the leading western lifestyle marketplace and home to WESA’s International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Markets beginning in 2021, announces that Jama Old West Boots and Frontier Classics will open permanent showrooms inside its growing western marketplace on the 14th floor.
“Jama Old West Boots and Frontier Classics are each a welcome addition to our expansive collection of top western brands who’ve committed to long-term agreements in permanent showrooms,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The momentum in Dallas continues to grow as we get closer to our grand opening of the world’s largest western marketplace in January 2021.”
The two companies join an impressive neighborhood of leading western apparel and footwear brands opening new showrooms at Dallas Market Center. These additions further solidify Dallas Market Center’s position as the dominant western marketplace for the widest array of products including western apparel and accessories, hats, boots and footwear, and tack and equipment.
Jama Old West Boots, based in Denver, has been manufacturing and exporting the highest quality boots for men, women and children since 1966, and their wide range of designs are available at more than three thousand retailers worldwide.
CEO of Jama Old West Boots, Rishi Jalan, said, “Making the move from Western temps into a permanent space is the best opportunity for our company to showcase our vast range of products. This showroom will allow us to be easily accessible to retailers who are coming to Dallas year-round. We are very proud and excited to continue our partnership with Dallas Market Center and look forward to reaching even more customers as the Western industry expands in Dallas.”
Since 2001, Frontier Classics has been designing and manufacturing top quality reproductions of authentic old-west clothing styles for men and women. Their collections are replications of actual garments worn from the 1870s and 1880s with products that range from coats, vests, dresses, trousers, blouses, ties and undergarments.
Frontier Classics General Manager, Kevin Snead, said, “We are thrilled for the chance to present our high quality, authentic clothing styles at Dallas Market Center. As an internationally recognized brand, we believe we will be able to grow the loyalty of satisfied customers and connect with new buyers inside this dynamic marketplace.”
Construction on the western marketplace inside Dallas Market Center is already underway, with a grand opening celebration planned in conjunction with the January 2021 debut of the most comprehensive western marketplace in the world and featuring hundreds of western lifestyle brands serving retail buyers from across the U.S. and internationally. No other marketplace in the world attracts more buyers seeking western and western-inspired products, including traditional western stores as well as apparel boutiques and gift stores broadening their merchandise mix.
WESA’s decision to move the International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Markets to Dallas beginning in 2021 was based upon a number of factors including Dallas’ superior entertainment and travel value. Throughout Dallas Market Center’s six decades of service to buyers and sellers the company has worked hard to ensure the availability of nearby accommodations, restaurants, entertainment, and support services that are plentiful, convenient, and affordable. To that end, according to Business Travel News, Dallas offers lower total business travel costs than most U.S. tradeshow destinations including Denver, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Centrally located within a short travel time from any location in the U.S. and Latin America, Dallas Market Center has more than 5,000 hotel rooms available within one mile including numerous budget options as well as hundreds of restaurants.
