Job Description: The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) drives profitable growth and brand presence within their assigned region by managing, developing, and expanding HOBO’s wholesale business. This includes nurturing relationships with independent specialty stores and key regional accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and executing brand strategies that elevate the HOBO presence in every door. The ideal candidate combines strategic sales acumen with a passion for fashion, accessories, and specialty retail, operating with entrepreneurial drive and a commitment to excellence in service and brand storytelling Key Responsibilities: • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. • Develop and execute a strategic call plan ensuring regular, high-impact account visits (6–8 week rotation cadence). • Cultivate relationships with existing retail partners through exceptional service, brand training, and sell-through support. • Prospect and open new accounts that align with HOBO’s brand values and market positioning. • Merchandise and maintain brand presentation in all accounts, ensuring HOBO’s storytelling and visual standards are consistent. • Analyze sales performance using company dashboards, territory reports, and account analytics to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (customer service, visual merchandising, marketing, and product) to deliver a seamless partner experience. • Participate in regional and national trade shows, market weeks, and key account meetings to represent the brand and drive business. • Deliver ongoing product and brand training to retail staff to improve conversion and consumer engagement. • Report on territory performance through consistent CRM updates, sales forecasting, and account recaps.

Qualifications

Required: • 3+ years of territory or account management experience in wholesale sales, preferably within fashion, accessories, footwear, or related consumer goods. • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding territory sales quotas, with examples of year-over-year growth. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor pitches to independent boutique buyers and national account teams alike. • Experience with merchandising and visual standards. • Ability to read sell-through data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable account strategies. • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a large territory independently and prioritize a full account calendar without day-to-day oversight. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or comparable tools; comfortable maintaining detailed account records and sales forecasts. • Willingness to travel extensively within territory; valid driver’s license required. Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. • Experience selling to independent specialty retailers or department stores. • Familiarity with accessories, handbags, or lifestyle categories.
