Description

The Apparel Quality Control role is a full-time, on-site position located in Dallas, TX. The individual in this role inspects garments at various production stages to ensure they meet company standards for fit, construction, fabric quality, trim application, and finishing. Daily tasks include measuring samples against specifications, checking stitching and seam integrity, verifying color and print consistency, and documenting defects with clear notes and photos. The role involves working closely with production, design, and vendors to communicate quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on rework or replacements. Additional responsibilities include maintaining organized inspection records, assisting with quality-related testing or fit sessions, and supporting continuous improvement of quality processes and guidelines.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for apparel, including garment inspection, measurement, and defect identification. Experience with Quality Management practices, such as setting standards, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in production environments. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a manufacturing or apparel setting, including adherence to safety, cleanliness, and process consistency. Ability to participate in or support Quality Auditing activities, such as vendor audits, internal process reviews, and compliance checks. Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and apparel production processes, with an eye for detail and consistency. Strong documentation, data entry, and basic computer skills, including working with spreadsheets and shared databases. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors in a professional manner. Ability to stand, move, and handle garments or boxes as required, and to work on-site in a production or warehouse environment. Previous experience in apparel quality control or production is preferred; relevant technical training or education in fashion, textiles, or a related field is a plus.
