We are a growing, nationally known sales agency looking to add team members to our booming national accounts team. The candidate selected for this position must be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning and a passion for sales. This person will also need to be a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. This position is a sales position with a high level of computer work required to close the sale. Candidate must be located in the Dallas or surrounding area and office from the Portico Collection showroom. Primary Responsibilities: • Build strong relationships with existing customers and develop new customers based on leads provided • Proactively prospect for new accounts • Oversee efforts to identify sales, cost, and profit opportunities across divisions, brands, and classifications through rigorous analysis and research • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrate great attention to detail • Oversee the development of brand partner discussion materials to be shared during negotiations • Enhance and enforce documentation, archiving, and audit processes for agreements with brand partners • Oversee tracking of profitability improvements to ensure that follow up actions are completed and that financial results are realized • Work on special projects, ad hoc analysis, and initiatives related to assortment performance/optimization and cost reduction/management • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in written communication • Ability to conduct complex quantitative analysis and build analytical models using Microsoft Excel • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines • Ability to develop effective working relationships with other Portico Team Members • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities • An open and honest, collaborative communication style that quickly builds trust and respect • Mastery of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Compensation & Benefits: • Position is a full-time salaried plus commission position working 40-50 hours per week during nonmarket months and extremely long hours during market months (January & June) Some weekends and travel are required in addition to January and June Market • Position is required to work all Gift and Apparel Market days • This position has a generous comp time policy to cover personal and vacation time off as needed and approved • Paid compensation for all DMC holidays • Insurance will be offered after 90 days of employment Please visit our showroom in the Dallas World Trade Center or take a virtual tour on our website to learn more about our successful team! www.porticocollection.com Randa Crisler The Portico Collection, Inc. 631 World Trade Center Mobile 281.687.6413 E:mail randa@porticocollection.com |
