The Showroom Sales Associate must be good with sales, merchandising and providing impeccable customer service. Sales Associates are also responsible for assisting the Showroom Manager with regard to client interaction, sales, order processing, inventory management, merchandising and product tagging. Duties and Responsibilities: Opening and closing duties to ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times. Support the functions of the showroom on a daily basis including Monday to Friday and any Major Markets and First Monday Events. Accountable for the prevention and resolution of customer issues To ensure effective communication and impeccable customer service to all customers and clients alike Ensure all new and current products are on the showroom floor in a professionally presentable manner, accounted for in inventory and tagged properly Manage displaying/merchandising, pricing, tagging and sales of all samples and products Offering product and/or delivery solutions when clients place orders with our brands Represent all Brands in a professional and enthusiastic manner Support showroom sales by escorting, assisting and providing clients with product knowledge throughout the showroom To maintain good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to Requirements: Inventive and resilient Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude and integrity Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking Attention to detail and accuracy Prior retail, showroom or retail experience Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers, suppliers and management Proficient with Microsoft Office (very well versed in Excel) Proficient with Shopify POS System Willingness to learn new systems Strong interpersonal skills, personable Excellent organizational skills Proficient in Merchandising products Event Management Experience a plus |
