Summary: Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day showroom operations including managing showroom staff, vendor relationship and showroom layout. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Oversees operations of showroom by coordinating with the Directors of Sales to maximize buyer experience and ensure showroom is presentable and prepared for daily traffic.* 2. Maintains knowledgeable of showroom vendors, products and lines to effectively merchandise, train and prepare staff to assist buyers .* 3. Coordinates and manages every aspect of vendor move-in/move out, ensures vendors are informed and follow move-in/move-out procedures, deadline dates for product arrival, respond to freight receipts of products, fixtures and signage.* 4. Nurtures and maintains positive relationships with showroom vendors.* 5. Respond to vendor and company emails, messages and phone calls in an appropriate time frame. 6. Understands, leads, and coordinates large industry events.* 7. Maintains a high level of professionalism in all work-related areas.* 8. Maintains general showroom upkeep to include light dusting/vacuuming, organize and lead sample sales, barcode and merchandise products, design or implement vendor’s booth designs, receive catalog’s and create floor books.* Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervise in the Showroom Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises up to 20 employees (non-supervisory). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
