Road Runners is a multi-brand agency representing leaders in the gift, home, personal care, paper, and fashion industries. We seek a result-driven candidate to continue selling top brands to a well-established retail account base and target potential customers. The ideal candidate has established relationships with gift, toy, home, fashion, and museum retailers.
Essential Functions and Duties:
o Assess current customers’ needs and provide sources to expand current product offering
o Develop and execute a strategy to target potential new customers
o Ensure quality service and high customer satisfaction through availability and consistency
o Respond and effectively communicate with represented brands
o Frequently cross-sell other Road Runners lines to customers
o Stay up-to-date on discontinued products, new trends, and top sellers
o Connect customers’ needs with creative and fast solutions
o Attend bi-annual regional trade shows to connect with customer base and sell new items (Approximately week-long show)
Job Specifications:
o Goal-oriented and internally motivated
o Relational and organized
o Outside sales experience and/or gift industry experience
o Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
o Capacity to work under pressure, independently, and with a team
o Committed to building a career path
o Aptitude for acquiring product knowledge and developing sales skills
o Basic computer skills
o US Citizen and proficient in English

We offer a higher than industry standard commission structure and no cap on earnings. This is a 1099 independent contract position. The job description has been designed to indicate the essential duties and general nature of work performance.
