The Vice President, Digital Technology will provide leadership, vision, and accountability in setting the strategic direction of all Dallas Market Center’s digital initiatives. This position will also oversee the design, development, and management of Dallas Market Center’s website, CMS, custom applications, mobile applications, and associated digital properties. Additional responsibilities include key analytics, database management, website optimization, usability, and cross-platform brand adherence.
Sets and manages the development team’s priorities to ensure appropriate and efficient use of all technical resources
Is instrumental in defining Dallas Market Center’s web/digital strategies and driving them to execution
Serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to cross-functional, senior-level management
Proactively works with key stakeholders to identify problems and provide creative solutions that positively impact the organization
Meets with internal customers to understand specific technological needs company-wide
Develops strategy and implements marketing technology efforts to improve the business
Directs change management, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts, while understanding requirements and preventing scope creep
Conceptualizes and builds high-fidelity prototypes that articulate direction on new projects to the development team
Manages marketing technology while understanding usage in order to optimize or change application adoption to maximize DMC’s investments, e.g. Hubspot
Oversees software training and user adoption including data security, data integrity, and product enhancements
Designs and implements strategies to improve key business metrics that directly impact Dallas Market Center’s bottom line
Utilizes specific front-end and design technologies to modify and maintain all web properties
Oversees and implements multiple projects simultaneously and serves as liaison for all business units
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Senior Product Manager
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years managing mid- to large-scale technical projects in dynamic environments
Ability to conduct high-level technical and business analysis
Ability to create clearly articulated strategies and documentation
Ability to assist varied business units with development of user requirements
Intermediate to advanced understanding of core business strategies
Independent thought applied to continuous process improvement
Ability to formulate, implement, and manage new ideas and solutions
Minimum of 5 years in front end web design and development
Advanced knowledge of front end tools such as HTML / CSS / jQuery
Intermediate knowledge of XML and the use of XML style sheets
Intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as ASP.NET
Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to sit in an office environment for the majority of each day
