Hubbardton Forge to Open New, Larger Showroom at Dallas Market Center
—Summer debut for atrium space in 3725 Trade Mart—
DALLAS – March 23, 2021 – Dallas Market Center, home of the largest residential lighting trade events in North America as well as 1.5 million square feet of open-daily Design showrooms, has announced that Hubbardton Forge will open a new, larger showroom in time for the summer edition of Lightovation, taking place June 23-26.
The new space, located in Trade Mart 3725 on the atrium and nearly twice their current showroom’s size, will feature Hubbardton Forge’s lighting collections and also provides room for future additional categories. The new showroom will capture the company’s Vermont roots that are key to their made-to-order craftsmanship and commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
"This is an exciting time at Hubbardton Forge,” said Maria Mullen, CEO of the company. “We are improving, growing, and expanding. Our new showroom in the Dallas Market Center is an integral part of our plans. The larger space will allow us to better serve our customers and showcase the beautiful products made by our artisans in Vermont. We look forward to unveiling it to the industry in June, and to bringing a bit of Vermont to our new home in Dallas where we look forward to welcoming our customers. We appreciate the partnership of the DMC in making this happen."
“Hubbardton Forge is a company beloved for their commitment to quality and authenticity,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We are thrilled with their expansion and their re-investment in a marketplace supporting the year-round business of lighting.”
The summer edition of Lightovation will take place June 23-26 and is expected to attract buyers from across the U.S. and Canada.
Supporting the health and safety of all customers, the market center continues comprehensive measures that include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day. Other efforts include enhanced cleaning with
hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, limited food service, no gatherings, and signage for social distancing. Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
